Enterprise Reporting includes all reports in a written or electronic format, that were created systematically and include decision-making and management-related information. Enterprise Reporting has four main objectives:

  • Data preparation - a constraint is that the data preparation is consistent, ie free of contradictions.
  • Transparency – what happens in the company should be displayed fully, understandable, clear and correct.
  • Decision support – therefore the scope and complexity of the available data has to be reduced.
  • Target-actual comparison - the actual data are compared with target numbers, so that decision makers can identify whether and what effect planned measures may cause.
